The Firework Code 

       Rules to follow this firework season to keep safe! 

• Do not drink alcohol when setting off fireworks

• Only buy fireworks marked CE

• Keep fireworks in a closed box 

• Follow the instructions on each firework correctly 

• Light at arms length, using a taper 

• Stand well back from the firework once lit 

• Never put fireworks in your pocket or throw them

• Always supervise children when near fireworks 

• Light sparklers one at a time and always wear gloves when handling 

• Do not allow children under the ago of 5 to use a sparkler 

• Keep pets indoors 

• Do not set off any noisy fireworks after 11pm
